Educational infrastructure for Ukrainian children
On 01.10.2022 the first Ukrainian primary school opened in Sibiu. On 01.11.2022 Ukrainian secondary school and high school opened in Sibiu. 28 teachers and auxiliary staff take care of the education and well-being of Ukrainian children, who receive a chance to have a more normal childhood, although they had to leave Ukraine. There are currently 153 children registered at both educational centres.
We have also managed to open 3 nursery and kindergarten groups together, to which 60 children have access.
This initiative not only ensures access to education for the children but also the possibility for the parents to get involved and thus become active members of society.
Due to the impressive expenses that such an initiative entails, the parents of the children registered in the educational centres pay a monthly fee of 250 lei, which is the equivalent of the educational fee.
Details of all the expenses involved in this initiative are given below.
